You must not own cars very long, or you’ve never owned any car over 5 years old when purchased.

Kinda true on both counts. I don’t have a very long car history:
-First car I “owned” was a 2004 Accord. Hand-me down from my brother, has it in 2009-2011 when I returned it to my parents with 48,000 miles when I bought my...
-Kia Forte, which I had for 2 years and put 28,000 miles or so on it before I traded it in for my...
-Chevy Sonic, which I owned for 2 and a half years and put a lot of miles on, trading it in at 39,000 miles for my...
-First Mustang, the Ecoboost, which I traded to a friend after 16 months with 22,000 miles to get the...
-GT, which had 32,000 when we picked it up in a Houston. Along the way I had a...
-CRX Si for 8 months that had 135,000 on the odo.
Fun fact, when I bought my Kia back in 2011 my dad bought a Ford Edge about a month later. That car has like 35,000 miles on it now. Needless to say I drive quite a bit more than he does.

Just hit 60k on my 2015 Outback. As of the 30th, I’ll have had it for 3 years.
